Dude, work on your spelling and grammar. Find a friend who can proof read and edit. It doesn't matter what your thoughts are if simple errors make you look stupid. Can the links...not clever. Can the, "FYI stupid people...here is a Reader's Digest definition of a complicated concept." It makes your narrator unlikably smug. I do like the injection of some genuine spiritual content into the Urban Fantasy Genre. Work on your sentence crafting and pace. You are galloping through like there is a prize for cramming as much "head" work in as few words, and as little plot/scene/character as possible. It is like a graphic novel without the graphics. And the, "THIS IS FICTION...wink, wink"...clique, meh! All that said, I think you have real potential or I wouldn't waste my ( too many books, not enough) time. There is too much hopeless crap and not enough potential being self published. GOOD LUCK.
When serial killers are stalking his town and life is tough, Adam Smith finds the appearance of a beautiful new neighbour just what he needs.
What's more, Eve fancies him too and life is great, until he discovers she has a secret and she knows who the serial killers are.
He's dabbled in black magic and spells a bit, however nothing prepares him for Eve's revelation that she's a inter-dimensional Vampire, what's more she will take him to her leader, as they say in the movies.
Terrified, he meets the leader, and his questions, and the leader's answers are so entertaining, putting a whole new outlook on so many questions posed through the generations. Adam learns about their worlds and life, then his amazement turns to horror as he realises him role in the proceedings, everything has a price as they say.
Will the world believe Adam?
Will Vampires rule the Earth?
To know the answer you'll have to read this very entertaining book which I read in one sitting and just couldn't put down.
I look forward to reading more stories from this talented and visionary author.
